Have you ever wanted to buy an item so
badly that you decided to purchase it via ordering online? Then unsuspectingly,
you are victimized by the services and circumstances surrounding the process of
purchasing the said item/s? If you said yes, then most likely you would know
what I felt as I went through the said ordeal. If no, then let me enlighten you
with the most unpleasant and unbearable situation I went through in online
shopping history.
Eri Bloodberry, the seller – Minor part
Order Summary:
-
Cardcaptor Sakura Notepad (80
PHP) note that later on, due to unavailability, I was forced to replace my
order with something else. (Monica from DDLC and a Wonder woman bookmark
instead which was 40PHP each)
-
Cardcaptor Sakura, Wotakoi and
magnetic bookmark (40PHP per bookmark)
-
SF via Xend (90 PHP)
Timeline:
(Note - You can refer to screenshots below
too. But most of our conversations range from Filipino to English. I got tired
of pasting everything so I didn’t include my conversation with her via her
personal FB account)
Aug. 23 – ordered from her online shop via
her website: https://www.eribloodberry.com/
Sept. 3 – Paid via bank (instructions were
unclear and it took me days to reach her. The details for my chosen mode of
payment were lacking her account name so I couldn’t pay immediately either)
Sept. 5 to 12 – period of waiting because
my ordered notepad couldn’t be made (printer was broken etc. and the technician
was a no show)
Sept. 12 – decided to finally change my
orders just to get it over with. She agreed and claimed that she would ship my
order this very day.
Sept.12 - onwards she stopped replying or
even updating me that got me so anxious and worried I decided to spam her FB
page messenger and even stalked her personal FB.
Sept. 18 - Eventually she replied and
apologized for not updating sooner and reported to me that all her bookings for
various couriers were a no show too. I was greatly relieved! You don’t know how
relieved I was! I actually thought she might’ve been a scammer, honestly. But
after hearing about as to what happened to my order, I was still upset. Of
course, her final option was LBC Express which led to another inconvenience.
(see part 2)
Conclusion for part 1: Upon actually receiving the package, the product result was very
good. The art is very cute as expected and I liked it. Even more so the freebie
she sent along which is a CCS sticker (but was slightly ruined by LBC’s
packing!) I think that she just needs to
be keener to updating her customers or even better if she joined online
shopping channels like Shopee or Lazada. Anyway, despite everything, I can say
that I am still a fan of her artwork. But if you ask me, I would definitely not
purchase online just to be safe. I would rather buy products at her physical
store (she said she plans to establish one) or during events in which she would
partake of.
LBC Express, the courier – Major part
I think it’s needless to say how very
looooooooooong it took before I actually got my package. – almost a week!
What’s worse is that they don’t update their customers via call or text message
at all! I had to update and call them. I had previous delivery transactions
with them yet what I don’t understand is their 1st excuse – they
couldn’t find my address, which was the reason why delivery “attempts” failed.
(WTF? Ever heard of google maps?)
I sent them email complaints and concerns
but even their responses were delayed. I called them to give additional
information on how to get to my place but still, no dice. (I called EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.) I even call spammed
them senseless last September 24.
You can see our history below that they
were “attempting” to deliver my package but hell no, that did not happen
immediately at all. (they claim to be “Hari
ng padala” or King of delivery in English but again, HELL NO)
The delivery paid for was supposed to be 1
to 2 days but based on my experience and this solid proof below, you can see
that they are really unreliable and bound to ignore your complaints. I sent
messages to their FB page as well – ignored! That’s why I decided to keep on
calling them. I was so frustrated that I literally cried! It was a good thing
that after escalating it each time, finally one of their customer care representatives
understood me and actually made a move. (the previous ones were useless and one
of them is a tad bit bitchy about my complaints. Come on! If that happened to
her, I bet she’d poop her pants in frustration.)
Anyway, the CSR that personally took care
of the escalation was kind enough to give me updates and reassurance so I
finally got my package on Sept. 25. It was very delayed and slightly damaged
but I was just really glad I got my package.
Conclusion on part 2: I’ll never seek the services of LBC express ever again! They really
stressed me out. Other people via their FB page are also complaining on how
they experienced the same thing that happened to me! They are honestly the
worst. I had previous orders and had different couriers deliver my items but I
did not encounter such disgusting inconveniences like in LBC. My package was
not even 100% in good condition when it arrived. I understand that some people
would easily dismiss it saying it’s not that expensive but hello! I happen to
have sentimental value for all my precious things! And besides, it’s LBC’s duty
to make sure packages are delivered on time and in perfect condition.
I know all I’ve had to say are mostly rants
but I assure you it is my best interest that no more people like me would have
to go through such situation. I hope also that this can help others, based on
my story to have backup plans in case this happens to them.
Thank you for reading and keep ranting with
me! LOL. XOXO
