God's timing

 Isaiah 40:31

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Lamentations 3:25-26

The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.

Application questions:

-  Have you ever waited for something? How did you feel while waiting?

- After waiting for so long, was it a failure or a success?

Bible characters sample:

- Ruth - she just followed Naomi (who was a follower of God) Eventually was blessed to get married after suffering widowhood.

- Timothy - young but still preached

- Hannah - waited and prayed to bear a child

- They all had different situations in life but God had different plans for them. Even the time God has fulfilled their purpose varied.

- God has his own timing. Even I realized this. God revealed this to me during a time I was feeling doubtful and vulnerable. He revealed to me that even Jesus' full glory wasn't shown instantly. During his lifetime it's possible that only a small portion of his glory was revealed.

- "Our insecurities, fears and doubts can never be banished by the knowledge of who we are. They can only be banished by the knowledge of "I am."' - Jen Wilkin (a quote I saw on Instagram)
