On normal days, I already have so much on my plate.
How much more in the world's current state?
I was already hopeless before life got this hard.
I wish I can remain faithful and reap my reward.

Not all friends and relatives can be relied on,
Acrimony built throughout the years came undone.
I wish I didn't have this cynical state of mind
But inner nd outer peace is something I cannot find.

I guess this is how life on earth really works.
Occasionally there are little joys and perks.
Then again, this life is just a training ground.
Only in Heaven with Christ, can joy be found.

Answered prayers and undeserved blessings, I always get.
I pray that this gratitude - I won't forget.
Surely, my future is already secured with you.
I hope in my heart, this will always ring true.
