God gives and God really takes.

Maybe I'm punished for my sins and mistakes.

My heart is drowning in doubt and sorrow.

What will become of me tomorrow?

-

I want a new mind and heart, yearning after you.

So all your plans and purposes for me will come true.

But there's so many wants and worldly distractions all over the place.

It seems my soul is wired to keep falling from grace.

-

But life is cruel and imperfect, I desire to be in your temple.

But I'm stuck in a loop of sin and repentance just like your people.

How imperfect we are yet made in your likeness.

I pray in my lifetime that your holiness I can harness.

-

Tired and hopeless, I come seeking you.

I want to surrender everything too.

Refreshed by your grace, I hope after this, I won't forget.

Lest I end up in a loop again which will cause me regret.

-

My God! My free choice and will still leaves me lost.

Am I saved for nothing? I feel bad for Christ being the cost!

Make me surrender and mold me in your way.

Save me, my potter. I am your clay.

Run again

Problems of today will be long gone tomorrow

Because of you who wipes away my sorrow.

Your grace keeps me living every day.

It helps me look forward to being with you someday.

-

I don't deserve it, but you bless me still.

All my hopes and dreams only you can fulfill.

How can I ask you so confidently?

How can I come to your throne so boldly?

-

It's because you have cleansed me.

Not only that, you saved me!

When life seems overwhelming, I'll run again towards you,

Thank you for loving me, I love you too.

I hope my faith will be stronger than my fear.

Don't ever leave me, only you can wipe my every tear.

I hope everything I do will be pleasing to you.

I pray I'll honor you with anything I do.

Endless Night

I'd rather be asleep or even dead
So I'll stop worrying about what lies ahead.
All my hopes and dreams are already exhausted.
Tired of thinking any more thoughts in my head.
-
I don't know if I can hold on much longer,
Getting my hands on everything instantly, I'm fonder.
If only my waiting can make me stronger
And that my fear and doubts do not linger.
-

It feels like I'm still here and everyone's there,
Why does life always have to be unfair?
Ah, my God, surely you would car.
You wouldn't let harm come to my hair.
-
Still a tired soul in an endless night.
When will you come back, morning light?
 I'm growing anxious in this pool of fright.
Uncertain if I should win or lose this fight.
-
All my worries came crashing down.
My life's a joke and God's the clown.
Instead of smiling, I just frown.
In the sea of sadness, again I drown.
